The coordinators on this study, as members of IDF Group A 15, state in the preamble that "more & more, there emerges from the bulk of information, a fairly clear framework of the dairy cow's metabolism. This makes possible a better practical understanding of feed evaluation and providing practice with reliable recommendations". The report includes 16 chapters by 25 authors.
